Yoga Alliance certified yoga teacher
Feriel grew up in a sport environment and loves being active. She loves her fluffy friends and has rescued a lot of them since her youngest age. If you don’t find her on her mat, she might be at the gym, by the pool, in the kitchen (she loves cooking!), or even dancing & listening to music at home! She also cherishes her silent moments to meditate, read, practice Reiki, draw & craft things.
Feriel discovered yoga in the United States in 2010 and has practiced it regularly since. She first got attracted and seduced by the Asana, the fluidity and mobility of the body still amazes her although her practice today is extended to many other aspects of yoga (such as meditation, pranayama, its ethical and relational codes, its benefits, etc.), yoga being for her a philosophy of life. Yoga quickly became a passion for her as she developed a deeper awareness of and connection with herself. She wanted to share this passion and decided to take her first teacher certification from an Indian school (Green Yoga International) in order to grasp a more traditional understanding & teaching of this science and philosophy that is yoga. She is now (this coming Spring 2020) about to take another TTC, from True North Vinyasa, with a more modern approach as to get a wider view of this beautiful practice. She is a certified teacher by Yoga Alliance and mainly teaches Hatha and Vinyasa yoga with slow flows focused on mindfulness, strengthening and connection to the Self. She is also trained in Yin yoga. Feriel is a French native and can therefore teach in both English or French.
Passionate about her practice and the desire to better understand the body and its different sheaths (physical body, energy body, etc), Feriel also took Reiki trainings to become a Reiki Master in Reiki Usui / Holy Fire III and also became a Kinesiology practitioner in “Touch for Health”.
